Handcrafted Matcha Bowl (Chawan)

This handcrafted matcha bowl features a striking swirling glaze on the exterior and interior of the bowl and a green glazed rim. Matcha bowls, or chawan, are practical works of art, designed for whisking and drinking matcha green tea.

Made entirely from reclaimed and recycled clay, all our matcha bowls have their own unique character and charm. The slightly asymmetric shape of each bowl is a nod to the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or beauty in imperfection.
