2008 Vintage Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea

This vintage oolong tea has been roasted after aging, giving it a distinctly sweet and smoky flavor with a mahogany liquor and a deeply ethereal aroma. This particular vintage tea is from the 2008 harvest in the Fujian Province. It represents an artisanal interpretation of this classic floral oolong named for the goddess of mercy, tie guan yin. How to Re-Roast Aged Oolong Tea

Dark roast oolong teas lend themselves well to aging but require periodic roasting to remove any moisture and renew their vitality. We recommend re-roasting once a year.

Over time, oolong teas will deepen in intensity and complexity of flavor becoming rich, deep, nutty, and smooth. Visit our blog to learn how to re-roast your tea leaves.
